Been learning about effects processors for the last couple of weeks. Lecturer mentioned how a ‘vocoder’ works – it basically feeds a vocal track through a musical track to change the notes the voice is singing. “Ah right”, I say, “like Peter Frampton used to do so it sounded like his guitar was talking?”. At which point he just looked at me then laughed. Fuck you then techno-head! (didn’t say that bit out loud, probably should have).
